Privacy Policy
Effective August 23, 2026. This policy explains how InfoBrander handles information when you use the service.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as username, email address, password hash, optional phone number, profile/card content, links, referral information, and membership status. For security and basic card analytics, we may record IP address, user agent, timestamps, and card views.
How we use information
We use it to operate accounts and public cards, send account messages, provide analytics, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Public content and service providers
Information you publish on a public card or in the directory is visible to anyone. Hosting, email, security, and other infrastructure providers process limited data for us. A remotely hosted logo or profile image may disclose a visitor's IP address to its host.
Cookies
InfoBrander uses essential session and local browser storage for authentication, security, and remembering your privacy choice. If you select Accept optional on the homepage, Meta Pixel (Pixel ID 1873477260703018) loads and sends Meta a PageView event plus associated browser and device information so we can measure advertising performance. The Pixel does not load when you select Essential only or before you make a choice. Meta processes this information under its own privacy terms.
Abuse prevention
When registration protection is enabled, Google reCAPTCHA processes technical and interaction data under Google's privacy policy and terms to distinguish people from automated abuse.
Retention, security, and choices
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably needed for security, backups, disputes, and legal compliance. We use HTTPS and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. You may update account information in member settings or request access, correction, export, or deletion by emailing ian@infobrander.com. Some records may be retained when legally or operationally required.
Children and changes
The service is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will revise the effective date when we do.
